This was paint during the #EndSars period. At the time I felt like things had gone back to “normal”, but the fact remains the same: Mother Africa was and is still bleeding. This piece depicts how many of us from the African diaspora are feeling when you see your people dying unjustly. It is difficult to know how to help from a distance, especially when—in my case—I haven’t been home since birth.
