About
Created through the weight of loss, this piece holds the truth that grief reshapes us. The red and blue split across her form capture the tearing, the breaking, the internal storm. Yet the gold, like kintsugi, honours the reconstruction. It says: I was fractured, and still, I remain. Her gaze is steady not because pain has left her, but because she has learned to carry it. This work recognises that healing is not a return to what was, but a transformation into what can be. We are never the same after profound loss – there is beauty in that irreversible change.
